First UK and Ireland ISCAR Meeting

July 17-18, 2008, Bath, United Kingdom

Presentation

The first UK and Ireland ISCAR meeting was held at the University of Bath, Thursday, 17 July and Friday, 18 July, 2008.

The primary purpose of the meeting was to provide an opportunity for researchers in the United Kingdom and Ireland who are actively working with theoretical perspectives found within ISCAR to engage in extended dialogue and discussion about research efforts and conceptual questions within these perspectives.

This purpose arises from a belief that a current historical need within the UK and Ireland research community is for researchers to take some steps toward establishing a local dialogue, maybe even some intersubjectivity, concerning central questions within the theoretical perspectives found within ISCAR.
